1. Enrol & onboard

   A quick on-boarding call confirms you meet Level 3 requirements and maps the classroom evidence you’ll need. Hard-copy folders ship the same day and your online portal opens instantly.

2. Study on a leadership-friendly rhythm

   The Certificate needs ≈ 360 study hours. At 6–7 hrs a week you finish in 11–12 months; add hours to finish sooner (9 hrs ≈ 9–10 months). You still have a full 12 months of tutor access if duties pile up.

3. Blend placement with twin formats

   Gather evidence while you lead or support classes one day a week. Learn from both printed folders and an online portal packed with videos, mini-quizzes and templates.

4. Ask for help—real humans reply

   Email your tutor any time, call the weekday phone team for quick fixes, and benefit from a monthly progress check-in to keep momentum.

5. Learn → apply → submit

   Work through 7 specialist units covering leadership, SEND and curriculum planning. Email each assignment for feedback, then re-submit until perfect. Build a portfolio of classroom evidence signed by your teacher.

   When assignments and portfolio are approved, we register results with TQUK and send your digital plus hard-copy HLTA certificate.

This course provides successful students with a fully recognised qualification from TQUK, listed on the RQF (Regulated Qualifications Framework). TQUK is recognised as an awarding organisation by the qualification regulators for England, Wales and Northern Ireland, who are: the office of the qualifications and examinations regulator (OFQUAL) in England, the Welsh Government and the council for curriculum, examinations and assessment (CCA) in Northern Ireland.
