HOW IT WORKS:

Support is provided for up to 12 months for each course but it is entirely up to you how quickly you work through. The estimated study time is 157 hours for Level 2 and 245 hours for Level 3 so if you average around 5 hours a week study you would complete in 8-9 months as 12 months respectively.

The course is delivered through an online learning platform which includes a variety of visual, audio and text-based presentations.

Support is provided throughout the course via a tutor who can be emailed at any time should you come across anything you are unsure of. There is also a support team by telephone.

The Level 2 Certificate is split into six units. There are a variety of ways in which you are assessed including two multiple choice exams, a practical assessment, coursework and a portfolio.

Units 2,3 & 5 you will complete via E-Learning and submit your work to your tutor. If there are any areas for improvement or anything you have misunderstood you will be given feedback and the opportunity to re-submit.

Unit 6 requires a formative assessment which is assessed via a video. Students are asked to film themselves instructing five exercises taken from their program cards in unit 5. Upon completion of these units you are ready for the assessment day.

The Level 3 Certificate is split into four units. There are a variety of ways in which you are assessed including two multiple choice exams, a practical assessment, coursework and a portfolio.

Units 1 & 2: Multiple choice question papers to be completed on the practical assessment day

Unit 3: A case study submitted via the e-portfolio at home

Unit 4: A practical session to be completed at a gym in Birmingham
