WHAT DO I LEARN?:

Business Management Level 3 is designed for students looking to gain the knowledge to help them progress into a management role.

Students will be introduced to the principles and practice of managing people and performance as well as common business practices. Different leadership techniques will be explored along with dealing with conflict in the workplace.

Change Management is how we prepare, equip and successfully support individuals to adopt change in order to drive organisational success and outcomes

Managing change is an essential component of managing a business or organisation. This course is ideal for those already in a management role or looking to move towards one.

The course will allow students to:

• Understand change and how it can effect people
• Investigate how to help people with different personalities and characteristics to contribute positively to change
• Discover how to plan, manage and change a project
• Develop the confidence to introduce and lead through significant changes
• Explore change in organisations today
• Understand the differences between change and transitions
• Apply personality profiling to identify personality type
• Explain why people experience change differently from each other
• Create a leadership development plan for a character to lead themselves and others through change
• Demonstrate an understanding of how to identify options when starting to plan change and explain the importance of this stage
• Understand the role of training and development in successful change management

HOW IT WORKS:

Support is provided for up to 24 months (12 months per course) but it is entirely up to you how quickly you work through the course. The estimated study time is 120 hours per course so if you average around 5 hours a week study you would complete in approximately 12 months. 

Students can choose to take the online version of the courses where they are emailed to you or request a paper copy where the courses are delivered hard copy in folders. They are yours to keep so you can write on them, make notes etc.

Support is provided throughout via a tutor who can be emailed at any time should you come across anything you are unsure of. There is also a support team by telephone.

Both courses are split into six units. At the end of each unit you will complete an assignment which you will email to your tutor. An assignment is a set of questions based upon the unit you have just studied. Your tutor will mark your work and give you feedback. If there are any areas for improvements or anything that you have misunderstood you will always have the opportunity to re-submit.

The good news is there are no exams! Once you have completed all the assignments you complete the course.

COURSE OUTCOME:

At the end of this course successful learners will receive a Certificate of Achievement from ABC Awards and Certa Awards and a Learner Unit Summary (which lists the components the learner has completed as part of the course).
